“Are carbs bad for you?” “Does fat make you fat?” “What’s an Omega-3 and why do I need it?”
Knowing how food works in the body is an invaluable tool. Not only does it clear up many nutritional myths, it gives you the power and knowledge to make educated food choices yourself. In this class, we break down food to its basic parts (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and water) and discuss how each works to build and feed the body’s many systems. This two-hour workshop is fun, interactive, and appropriate for all levels of nutritional knowledge. Nutrition Education classes are taught at the Lake Union location for 1—4 persons on a scheduled basis, or can be taught to larger groups at a location of your choice. For pricing details click here.
